Gianluca Ravaglia, is graduated in double bass at the Conservatory "B. Maderna" of Cesena (IT), under M°Giovanni Valgimigli's guide.He has also achieved the Diploma of 1° Level in Jazz music  at the Conservatory "G. B. Martini" of Bologna (IT), studying  with teacher Paolo Ghetti. Manages didactic activity as teacher of electric bass  and double bass, at the school of music "musical Message F. Mariotti" of Forlì (IT) and other private Institutes.

Numerous collaborations with: the Conservatory of Cesena, the musical High school in Forlì, the youth orchestra "D. Alighieri" in Ravenna, the orchestra "City of Ravenna", The orchestra "B.Maderna" in Forlì, the orchestra of the “Cappella musicale Santa Maria dei Servi” in Bologna. In contemporary circle he has developed activity concertistica with The ensemble "Mosaici Sonori" in Ravenna, the Ensemble "Kandinsky " in Ravenna, with the Tuscan strings quartet "Barueco".

In theatrical circle he has collaborated with:David Riondino, Ivano Marescotti, Matteo Belli , Elena Bucci, Claudio Morganti.
He has  stable member of the Ensemble the M° Hector Ulises Passarella, of the groups “Tango Spleen” and “Tangocinco”. He has collaborated besides with the orchestras of tango "Quejas de bandoneón" in Bologna, and "Lo que vendrà" in Pescara (IT).

In 2006 and 2007 He has frequented the international course on the interpretation of the Tango, held by the Teacher H. U. Passarella and he has participated as stable member of the international orchestra of Festival "Tango y más" in San Ginesio (IT) under the artistic direction of the M° Passarella.
